Obituary of Milton Frank Northrup

Milton F. Northrup Sidney, NY Milton F. Northrup 80 of Sidney passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home. He was born August 4, 1931, Son of the late Frank and Florence (Jacobson) in the town of Colchester. Milton served his country in the New York Army National Guard from 1949 to 1959. He was honorably discharged as Master Sergeant. He married Rhoda Joyce Moran on September 30, 1956 in Davenport, NY. Milt owned and operated Northrup Electric and Northrup Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Walton. Most recently he was a contract postal carrier for the Sidney Post Office. He is survived by: Loving wife of 56 years, Joyce, Sidney Son and Daughter-in-law - Joseph and Sandy Northrup, Winston -Salem, NC Daughter, Jane Baldwin and her fiancé Ned Davis, Oneonta Grandchildren - Milton Joseph and William Paul Northrup Brothers - Neal Northrup, Richard and Cecelia Northrup, Jim Northrup, Roger and Linda Northrup all of Walton. Sister - Eleanor Green, Walton Brother-in-law - Bob "Butch" and Mary Moran, Frederick, MD Many nieces and nephews A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney.
