My condolences on the loss of "Dad". He was a good man and a wise advisor to many. I remember many, many afternoons at the dining room table drinking coffee and listening to many wonderful tales of him and Iva. They were indeed those "other parents" everyone needs in their life. Prayers and my sincerest sympathies to those he left behind.

What wonderful memories we have of living in Young's Station for 30 years. Harold and Iva were a big part of those memories and we are so grateful to have known them.

Sadly looking up some of my past to find this expected but sad news. We spent a lot of time visiting our farm family. The DuMond's were my grandmother's cousins who treated us like one of their own. Spent many nights as a kid falling asleep at the dinner table due to shear exhaustion. We still tell stories of our travels and discoveries... from chasing feral barn kittens to the scary bull down in the lower barn. Just typing that brings back a flood of emotions and tear in my eye.
Hopefully Bill and Butch are both doing well. If anyone ever sees this... please pass it along from the little kid covered in cow poo.
Good times, great memories and even better folks!
Don
