Francis J. Wicks 64 of Harpursville passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at his home.
He was born April 23, 1947 son of the late Howard and Katherine (Wicks) Zatorski in Hicksville, NY. He graduated from Afton High School and enlisted in the military.
Frank served his country in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1968. He married Gloria Ives on September 10, 1975 in the town of Fenton. Frank was employed by McGowan Construction Co. in Binghamton when he retired in 1987. Frank was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter - Bill Gasper Memorial #60 in Binghamton.

Brother-in-laws - Gary and Kathy Ives, Greene
David and Diane Ives, San Antonio, TX
Sister-in-law - Donna and John Doyle, Las Vegas
Frank's best friends - Jim Bob, Chico, Rob and Michael
And several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Frank was also predeceased by his Son, Kenneth "Milo" Wicks and sister, Kathleen
Gregory.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Burial with military honors will follow in Nineveh Presbyterian Cemetery.
