I am probably not the only one who never knew Gally's real first name. My sympathies to Rod & Roy & their families. Gally was "Mr. Dependable" at the old Junior High and always
yukked it up with the students in a way that was proper and never over the line. He was a good man.

Gally was a good friend and a great teacher of local Indian history. I had the pleasure of "artifact hunting" with him many times. Gally autographed my copy of NYS Archaeologist William Ritchie's book on the paleo era (Gally is in the book!).

To Gally's family,I remember Gally from wrestling matches and football games,and as a custodian at the school.But my fondest memories are of him coming to the garage,a loyal customer and a freind, always with an interesting story.Rest in peace Gally.
