I remember having overnights with Colleen and he would take care of us. And at Joe and Barbs parties he wore such a great smile.
He'll be missed our hearts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Expressing condolences by email seems a bit impersonal given that Dickie is my cousin but living in South Dakota creates logistical problems that at times are hard to overcome. Just know that I am thinking of Dick and all of you and was sorry to hear that he had passed away. Over time Dickie seemed to look after all of us in one way or another and often he did so when we thought we were looking after him. I believe that was the case between Dickie and my mother and although I never said it to him I appreciated the fact that he and Mom would get together in mutually beneficial ways. Dickie defied the odds and he will be missed.

My condolences go out to the entire family, especially to Sonny, Don and Reggie. "Dickie" was a true character, his voice was much bigger than his size and he will be sorely missed. He is in a place now that will bring him peace and joy ... God Bless all of you.

To Dickie's family: Our thoughts are with you at this time. Dickie was one of a kind; much bigger than his statute. I can remember being a little girl and Dickie babysitting us; he was so funny!!! Always told it like it was and said what was on his mind. Always friendly, making people laugh, and giving people all his love; those are the things that we will remember with fond memories of Dickie.
