Sympathy is many hearts sharing one sorrow. May it help to know that others, too, feel your loss. (Cicero - There is no grief which time does not lessen.) Jim was loved and will be missed.

Brenda & family,
We are so sorry to hear of Jim's sudden passing. He was a really great guy and always had a joke. I will always remember playing cards at noontime with him when we use to work at Bendix, along with working with both him and you. Those were some good times. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time.

I want to light a collective candle on behalf of my parents Norm & Donna Davie. While I did not know Jim personally, I can vividly recall him being on the 'Country Motel' bowling team on the Friday Night Men's League at 20th Century. That's when us kids got to be envious of the cool bowling shirts the men wore, and if we were lucky, could finish the pinball game (behind lanes 9-10) one of them had started. On behalf of the Davie family, please accept my sympathies. I'm sure my dad will have plenty more memories to share.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Philpott family. Jim was a wonderful man who was always willing to help, had a great sense of humor and could always leave you laughing. Many jokes and stories were told around the "meister" at Central Station as only Jim could tell them. His many years of service to local organizations are a tribute to the caring and dedication he had for his community. He will be greatly missed.

To the Philpott Family,
Your Husband and your Dad was truly one of the nicest people I knew. I had the pleasure of bowling and working with Jim for many years, Jim always used to call me "Hambone" in meetings or at the Bowling lanes, I laugh because I always wondered if he knew my first name. When I pulled open the site this morning, I was in shock and sad. May you rest in peace my friend Jim and to the Philpott family, keep those great memories alive each day, he truly touch a lot of us.
Hambone / Bob
