Obituary of Julia Judy Jones Lewis

Julia Judy Jones Lewis Bainbridge, NY Julia Judy Jones Lewis 76 of Bainbridge passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta. She was born June 28, 1934, daughter of the late Charles W. and Naomi (Merritt) Northrup in Sidney. Judy graduated from Sidney High School in 1952. She worked for the butcher department at the Sidney A&P and Blue Ox in Oxford. Judy retired from the accounting department at Bendix in Sidney in 1991. Judy was a member of the Masonville Federated Church; she enjoyed crocheting and NBA Basketball. She is survived by 2 Sons and a daughter-in -law - Leonard and Beth Jones, Branford, CT Phillip Jones, Bainbridge 2 Grandchildren - James and Aria Jones, Branford, CT Husband - Charles Lewis, Maryland, NY 1 Brother and his family - Charles F. Northrup, Norwich 5 Sisters and their families - Rose Bush, Delhi Patricia McDonald, Delhi Jeanette Van Why, Norwich Shirley Manchester, Vacaville, CA Sharon Quinn, Saratoga Springs She was also predeceased by her first husband Howard Jones. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney at 11:00 AM. Rev. Roger Davies, pastor of the Masonville Federated Church will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney.
