We were saddened to read of Ken's death in the paper today. I first met him at a Deposit Advisory Board meeting that he attended. First impression - a very quiet guy, but that might have been because Ken, Sr. was doing the tslking. Later I discovered a wry sense of humor hiding just under the surface ! Joan - we're very sorry for your loss of a great guy - John & Betty

Ken was a kind, thoughtful and discerning individual. Those who took the time to gain his confidence found a true loyal friend. I will always cherish my association with the Axtell family and with Ken in particular. I am proud to have been his friend.

We have been the care takers of Ken's farm in Deposit for close to ten years. Ken was a gentle man who was not only a good employer but was easy to talk to and would do anything for you if he could have. This loss will leave a big hole in many peoples lives. We will miss him very much.

I send our condolences from my mother (Lillian Darling), and myself. I knew him for many years as did my mother, as she also worked with him at the bank in Deposit.
Our prayers go out to all of the family. He will be greatly missed.

I first met Ken, many years ago, in Benny & Millie's Diner in Norwich. We had many enjoyable conversations there, over morning coffee. He was the kind of person anyone would like immediately.
We are so sorry for your loss.
