I offer my condolences for your loss. Although, I didn't know her, she was a neighbor and lived up the road from me. Prayers for your family and may her memory bring you comfort.

Dear Family,
Through Josie Bertelink we received the obituary of our niece Ann Schoelier and hereby express our sincere condolences to children, grandchildren and other family. Sad news but also the end of an eventful life with happy moments but also many setbacks. Her positive attitude to life has brought her much.
We have visited them several times in recent years and the last time was during our motorcycle tour in the summer of 2018 and had lunch together in a restaurant in Bainbridge.
We keep fond memories of them both and wish you much strength on behalf of the family in the Netherlands.
With love,
Cousin Jorrit Geertsma

My dear cousins,
We have been saddened by the news of your sister Ann’s passing. I know for each one of you this is a “stop in time moment”.
Dick and I want to extend our condolences to each one of you as you grieve another loved one. Maybe we can take the view “not lost, but promoted ahead of us”. We know that Ann had many struggles while she was here. We often remarked at how positive she was able to remain. It wasn’t so much that she settled for her lot, but she recognized it was usually out of her control and she just plodded on - - and on.
We were so glad to hear she would spend a bit of time with Linda this past winter. I’m sure you look back on that now as a blessing and a memory made to cherish always.
We know Bill would have scaled any wall for Ann. We noticed during their various visits to our family, that Bill was always so attentive and couldn’t do enough for her. When Bill passed away, we wondered how she would be able to cope. I know you had your concerns as well. And then when Debbie passed away, oh my, how hard that must have been for a mother. Will they know one in another in eternity? I’m not sure the Bible is clear on that, but I do know that our Saviour, the Lord Jesus was waiting for her with open arms and the angels in heaven rejoiced at her arrival. What a tremendous comfort, to know that God loves each one of us and has made a way for us to be with Him.
May God add His comfort to each one of you as you remember not only Ann, but other members of your family that have gone before us.
God bless you,
With our love and compassion,
Dick and Josie Bertelink (CANADA)
