Obituary of Edna Ruth Howe

Edna Ruth Howe passed away August 10, 2024, at the age of 93. She was born in Hancock, N.Y to the late Horace and Ruth Robinson. In 1952 she married Norman Howe who passed away in 2003. She was also predeceased by in-laws Floyd and Lois Howe of Bainbridge, N.Y. and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jack and Lorraine Roloson and great nephew Jackie Robinson. Edna is survived by her daughters Cathy Birdsall of Afton, N.Y. and Laurie Howe of Greene, N.Y., brother and sister-in-law Jack and Kathy Robinson of Florida, nephews Robert and Paula Robinson of Mount Vision, N.Y. and Richard Robinson of Oneonta, N.Y., granddaughter Ashlee and Jonathan Wood of Afton, N.Y., grandsons Paul Birdsall of Afton, N.Y, Richard Carbone and Gaby Ramirez of Plainfield, N.J. and Aaron Carbone and Taylor Wahlers of Greene, N.Y., two great-granddaughters Alivia Birdsall of Afton, N.Y. and Brynleigh Carbone on Greene, N.Y. and great-grandson Luciano Carbone of Plainfield, N.J., as well as many nieces and nephews. Edna enjoyed her family time, especially the bus trips and shopping with her daughters. She had quite the green thumb when it came to her house plants. She had a beautiful sunporch to show them off in. She was an amazing person and will be deeply missed. Arrangements will be made by C.H. Landers, Inc. Sidney, N.Y. The interment will be private.
