I am at a total loss as to what I can say about Karen as words alone can not measure what a truly wonderful person she was.
There was nothing she wouldn't do for me. I have nothing but fond memories of her and Ron both. Two totally great people that I will sorely miss.
Every time I go out to my gardens, I will remember her as she is who provided me most of my flowers for many years. She loved her kids, and she loved her dogs. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to tell her how I felt about her and Ron shortly before her passing, and I do have faith that we will meet again.
To the Noxon family, I was so sorry to hear about Karen,
Those we love don't go away,
they walk beside us everyday,
Unseen ,unheard, but always with you,
She will live in your hearts forever!

Regretfully, I only met Karen two years ago. Her gentle smile would always greet my bringing boxes of expired milk or yogurt for the pigs.. She laughingly claimed they especially liked the ice cream! Her presence and her generosity will be greatly missed.

I brought some baby pigs to her years ago & she told me my pigs were so spoiled when people came to buy my pigs they would run up to people instead of running away. Therefore, people couldn't buy them for food cause they were so friendly. I told her I knew they were spoiled. She laughed because I would never carry them by their back legs, I carried them like a baby.

We knew Karen when Frog Pond began, with the little shed by the big house. Mom went there for years for her pickling cucumbers and dill. Karen always helped and made sure Mom got all that she needed. We continued the tradition of Mom's pickling and Karen continued to be there for us and give us all that we needed. We will miss seeing her when we go there. Her spirit lives on in all of her years of hard work and sacrifices. Thinking of all of you.

Oh, my goodness…so very sorry, Sean, and families. Im deeply saddened to learn of Karen’s passing, and like so many others, always enjoyed seeing her at Frog Pond. She really made everyone feel welcomed and seen and valued as a customer. I enjoyed watching her and Ron start their business from the ground up, starting with a small tarp over fresh fruits and veggies. I was always happy to get her phone call, asking for notecards each Spring. I’ll miss seeing her and hearing her voice and chatting about flowers…

I came back here last year for the first time in many years, Karen and I sat on the side talking about her trip to Alaska she told me all the spots to hit! She would make sure the boys would get me my boxes of apples for my deer everytime I saw her she had a smile and we would talk for a while! I hated she wasn’t there this year I missed our talks…

Our deepest sympathies to the entire family, staff and friends. Karen always said hello to me when I was there getting produce or flowers, and we had many chats about owning businesses, employees, and day to day operations we both were involved in. She shared and showed a strong work ethic, contributed to the community in many ways, and was a team member of an incredible family run operation. We can't even begin to imagine how you all are feeling this week. Your continued work in the business speaks volumes to the rest of us. Please know many are thinking of you during this very difficult time.

I remember many years ago, when my Mom first told me about Frog Pond Farm and the family who started it after I88 took their farm near Albany. It was just a small farm stand then, with some baby animals and Mom enjoyed taking her grandchildren there. Those grandchildren are now in their 40s! Our sincere condolences to the Noxon Family for the loss of Karen. May God comfort you during this sad time.

There are never the right words to express how one's feelings about the loss of a parent or family member truly are. Your mom and I shared some very heavy conversations at times and I'll never forget her compassionate side or her empathy for others.
May peace be found for your mother and you, as her children, knowing she is again with your father and other family members that left before she did. May blessings follow your way. Sue Ward

We're long time customers at Frog Pond, and always enjoyed seeing your Mom (and Dad) there; she recognized us and always said "hello - nice to see you." Our kids grew up making frequent trips to the farm and literally grew up on all the fresh fruit and veggies. Very sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace
Sincerely,
The Welte family
