Dear Tom and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved wife and mother. We found out just recently about her death.
My parents have been neighbors of Stone family for many years. My wife and I had a chance to interact with Sue during the recent years. She was very kind to give our children a short horseback riding lesson which left them with a great memory. We were stricken with how kind and thoughtful Sue was. She truly touched our hearts and we will be always grateful for having to meet her.
Even though we no longer visit the area we will greatly miss her.
May she rests in peace.
Edward, Agnieszka, Zosia and Philip Rogacki

I reconnected with Sue at "The Meeting Place" ((Dwight Mott's Unadilla coffeehouse/eatery). I was tickled pink to catch up with my schoolmate, Sue Higby (sp?)who was a year ahead of me at Unatego...
She was full of laughter and told me of her great marriage to Tom Stone; how she had a horse with lots of personality! Sue looked as healthy as ever and had a gift for making one feel she was deeply happy to be sharing time with you. I wished I'd known her even better in school, if we hadn't been such busy students.
So sad to hear of her sudden demise, I share condolences with Tom and the entire family who survive her.
I will add that since our last chat was about the horse who meant so much to her, I'm glad she was doing something she passionately loved~ when she made her transition to the ever~after.
Love to all,
(Dolly) Dorothy Sokol

Tom and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. So sad to hear of Sue’s accident. I will always remember Sue’s cheery personality and warm smile. She was teaching me to do cross stitch when I worked with her years ago. She had a lot patience! May happy memories keep her forever alive in your hearts. John and Karee Gilmore

Dear Tom, Chris, Tim and family,
We send you our sincerest condolence at the loss of Sue. She was a light in the darkness to all who knew her.
Without Sue's inspiration and prodding to put together the fabulous kazoo band "Kazoonadilla" a few years back, we would have never experienced the joy, fun and comradery at the Annual Flag Day Parade. I will hold dear the Girls Nights w/Tom as cook. Our Halloween costume parties at Jane's, her knowledge of and gifts of plants, and her crafty gifts over the years. Her love of horses, sewing, woodwork, flowers, music, and caring for her family and friends never ceased. Thank you Sue for being a inspiration and great friend. You will be missed more than you know. Rest in God's peace my friend. ❤
