Obituary of Gavin B. Colone

Gavin B. Colone 36 of Sidney went home January 7, 2024, following a short illness. Gavin is predeceased by paternal grandparents, Enio and Dolores Colone, Maternal grandparents Gerald and Rubyjean Hastings and Uncle Greg Hastings. Gavin is survived by his son, Olin Colone, whose love was beyond measure. Parents, Karl B. Colone and Theresa Hastings Brother, Francis (Cait) Colone, nephews Will and Dylan Colone Gavin's companion, Jade Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear, dear friends. Though Gavin was rough around the edges those who knew Gavin, knew he had a heart of gold and was a loyal trusted friend. Gavin will be greatly missed in the ways he touched those who knew him. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the many doctors, nurses and staff who cared for Gavin especially at Mt. Sinai, Chenango Memorial Hospital, Sidney EMT and Guilford EMT. In Gavin's memory in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to benefit his son, Olin Anthony Colone to be mailed to 119 County Road 36 Guilford, NY 13780 or to donate to an animal shelter of your choice. Friends and family may call Friday, January 12, 2024, from 2-4 pm at CH Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney, Funeral services will follow at 4pm.
