Mr Gregory, always greeted me with a smile and would find time to discuss whatever was going on and always willing help with anything. Whenever I needed a paper notarized he would do it right away. I remember riding with him on a hunting trip to the Adirondack mountains!! I will always have fond memories of him!

As a fireman in Sidney myself for 25 years, I knew Les. I knew him as chaplain, chief, fellow fireman, and friend. We met often. Not only at alarms, but at meetings, drills and gettogethers. He was always our leader, even behind the scenes. Always a kind word, a smile and there. A true loss, Les will be greatly missed. Rest in peace. Dick Winston

My sincere condolences of the loss of Les. I am extremely grateful to you for allowing me to be a part of his life for the past year and a half-making him dinner 3 nights a week, learning so many things about the past, gardening, flying a plane, aging gracefully, the history of both Walton and Sidney and especially, sharing family stories (mine in Endicott and of his amazing loved ones). I will miss him very much and look forward to meeting him again when our Creator chooses to bring me home. I know he is rejoicing now with all his loved ones who have departed before him.

Lester Gregory was a life long Masonic Brother.
Our Masonic Lodge honored him with his 70 year Service Award in 2022. He was proud and happy to receive it and he spoke about his appreciation for what Masonry has done for him.

Mr. Gregory was one of my favorite Dads growing up. Always a smile on his face. He told me a story about my Mom growing up and it was so cute and I loved hearing it. His memory was outstanding and Blair and I enjoyed working with him on the Sidney Veterans Memorial Park Board. He always contributed great information and ideas.
Dianne and Cherie, you were so fortunate to have had him in your lives for so long and may your memories help you through this difficult time. He will be missed.

I was sad to learn of the death of Les Gregory today but happy to have him as a friend for many years. We were in Rotary for a long time and on a couple of committees together over the years and when Les talked people listened. I always enjoyed talking to him about local politics and business in general. He was one of the finest gentlemen that I have met. Sidney has lost another good man. Rest in Peace Les.
