Dear Dave, Nick, Alex, and family,
We are so saddened to hear of Chris’ passing. It has been many, many years since we have seen you, just before you moved to Harpursville. Chris was such a wonderful and loving mom, a great neighbor and a super friend. Always willing to help, had a heart of gold. May your memories of her help you through these difficult times. May she now rest in the comfort of the Lord.

Chris will always be one of my moms nearest and dearest friends. I remember playing with the kids growing up and 30 years later Chris & mom were as close if not closer than they were back then. Chris got our house into chickens, and was always willing to help. I wish my mom could vocalize her love for you all but I hope you know how special she is and will always to be our family.

Chris was one of the Most caring, loving ladies ever. She always put her families needs before her own as well as her friends. We are so honored to have been her Uncle and Aunt. Chris was one of the strongest people we have ever known and always moved forward with a smile and laughter even when the disease was testing her. We know Heaven gained a one of a kind Angel and that her Mom is happy to now be with her again. God Bless. Uncle Mickey and Aunt Kay

Her faith was beautiful to see. She came to church and talked with me and others as long as she was able. And she lit up the church. Her joy was contagious. Her faith was powerful, and people just enjoyed being around her. She was one of a kind, and even when her disease made it clear there would not be a tomorrow, she showed her faith as real and as alive as anyone I have ever known. She knew the art of holy living and holy dying, and she shared that with her church that loved her and cared for her.
