Obituary of Sharon B. Delello

Sharon B. Delello, 72 of Bainbridge, passed away peacefully Friday, March 24, 2023 at Wilson Hospital with her loving family by her side after a long battle with cancer. Sharon was born September 20, 1950, the ninth child of twelve children to the late John and Marian (Miner) Bargher of Sidney. She graduated from Sidney Central School in 1968. She had a handful of jobs, including working at Fendick's Chrysler Plymouth, Sidney Bainbridge Welding and Machine, The Olde Jericho, Upturn Industries, and most recently she was a food service worker at Sidney Central School. She married John Delello on March 7, 1970 in Bainbridge. She started the junior bowling league in Bainbridge in 1978. She enjoyed bowling, golf, and playing cards, especially with Regina, Marian, and her granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband John, brothers, John, Burdette, Robert, and sister Gloria Koegler. She is survived by her son Jim, his girlfriend Sharon Hayes, granddaughters Courtney and Abbey Delello, and sisters Barbara Delello (John), Marian Hoag (Del), Marlene McTeague, Darlene Ricci (Pete), and Regina Teale and brothers Paul (Jacqueline) and Gary, as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 6-8pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 11:00am at the funeral chapel.
