Obituary of Raymond Cawley

Raymond Cawley Bainbridge, NY Raymond Cawley, 53, of Bainbridge, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 at his home. Ray was born on September 30, 1956, son of Raymond Cawley, Sr. and Frances Matson in Sidney. He graduated from Bainbridge-Guilford High School with the Class of 1976. On December 23, 1978, Ray married Barbara Barnes. She survives him. Ray was a long time machinist at Amphenol Corp. in Sidney, retiring in 2005. Ray loved his motorcycles and restoring cars. He enjoyed helping others with their projects as well. He was a member of the Rockdale Rod and Gun Club, as well as the NRA. Ray is survived by: His wife, Barbara Cawley Bainbridge 2 Step-sons: David and Sandy Larry Conway, SC Dennis and Rena Larry Bainbridge 1 Step-daughter, Dawn and Tracy Armstrong Bainbridge 3 Beloved Grandchildren: Cody Hunt and fiance Stephanie Dann, Adam Hunt and Rachel Hunt Father, Raymond Cawley, Sr. Mother, Frances Matson Brother, Richard and LaGuya Cawley Las Vegas, Nevada 2 Step-Brothers: Curtis Cawley (Bainbridge) and Harold and Lindy Stickler (Unadilla) 2 Step-Sisters: Sandy Cawley (Bainbridge) and Melissa Goodrich (Johnson City) Special friends: Steve Holland (Bainbridge), Michael Mugglin (Bainbridge), David Gregory (Oxford), Joshua Patterson (Bainbridge), Darrin Eggleston (Buffalo), Ronald Decker (Bainbridge), Donald Hromada (Bainbridge) and Dale and Roger Schmidt (Sidney Center). As well as numerous other friends. Friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the funeral chapel with Donna L. Steckline officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge. Memorial donations in Ray's memory may be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County, 21 Hayes Street Norwich, NY 13815.
