Obituary of Agnes E. Hoffman

Agnes Hoffman of Unadilla passed away peacefully on July 21, 2022 at Fox Hospital. She was 97 years old. Agnes was born on October 6, 1924 in Staten Island, NY to Milton and Edith Pate. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Hoffman, the love of her life. Agnes worked for Sears in Staten Island selling major appliances. She made many friends there, some of who she kept in touch with over the years. She moved to Unadilla after she retired to be close to her family. Agnes was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Unadilla. What made her happiest in life were people. She loved her family, her friends, and her church family. She is survived by two daughters, Janice Vitek and Kathy Lodovice and husband Terry; granddaughters: Jennifer Ondreyko and husband Scott, Holly Abramski and husband Jake and Kirby Morenus and husband Tom; great-grandchildren: William, Shane, Henry, Charley, Ike and Ruby; as well as friend and constant companion Jewell. A celebration of Agnes' life will be held on August 6th at 1:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 156 Main St., Unadilla followed by a coffee hour at the church.
