As with Jim, Thelma was a guiding influence and inspiration to me both inside and outside of the school. I always enjoyed talking with her at sporting events, especially the last few years at Garrett's tennis matches. We send our sympathy to all of you and will be keeping your family in prayer in the days ahead.

To the entire extended Palmer Family-we were deeply saddened to hear of Thelma's passing. She was a fixture for so many of our years growing up @ B-G, teaching 7th grade math and another constant in our lives in and around Bainbridge area. Her dedication to her family, church and community was felt by many of us, and she will be missed. However to all of you she was Mom, sister, Grandma, and that loss is one that can never be replaced. We are all better for having know her, and this community will be thinking of all of you as she makes her final journey-we hope you have many wonderful pictures, memories, and stories to share about this amazing woman you were all so fortunate to have known.
