My Mom was a thoughtful, considerate and caring person. She was always optimistic and saw the best in people. Even when she was struggling, she didn’t like to bother anyone for help. She was a great mother, wife, and loved her family. I remember her always singing and some of life’s little lessons were in song. Growing up, we had great times camping and playing games. She enjoyed cards and would let people win so they would feel good. She was very active in community and church and was a faithful follower of Christ. Even though we will miss her dearly, she’s now reunited with my Dad and brother. That will make her very happy.

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing but she is no longer suffering and is with Jesus and her beloved Lyle & others. I remember our 4-H gatherings with Pines Brook 4-h where I believe Lyle & Nancy met. She was a good neighbor and a strong leader and teacher of Sidney Center Methodist Church children and youth as well as Lyle serving in various capacities and trustee of the Church. May God bless the Bennett & Gifford families with His Peace,
Phyllis (Betts) Place, personally &

Nancy and Lyle were our dear friends and neighbors. Our friendship goes back before we were married. We went with our guys to their music gigs. Later, we were in the Rural Rhythm Show for over twenty years. I miss them every day. but Am happy that Lyle and Nancy are together now. I'm thinking my Bill and Lyle are making great music together.
Lyle on the fiddle and Bill on piano. That Rural Rhythm Band could play any song in any key.
