Tom lived & was the paramedic prayer. I was lucky enough to have seen it first hand being his partner on Union ambulance with him for just over 2 years. As you can imagine working nights & in Johnson city, NY. Tom touched so many lives including mine. Tom will always be my brother in this life & the next. Thank you Tom for all you have done in your short 49 years. You will live on in our memories & love. Xoxo Lynda Hopkins

As my wife's partner for years at Union Ambulance, Tom always left me with the feeling Lynda was safe and with access to the best instruction if needed. I imagine many in the community feel, as we do, as if a family member has departed.

When I started flying at 7-8 Tom was my supervisor, teacher, and mentor. He was my partner for my first feild tube, for which i was terified, and he gave me the confidence to step up to the plate. He made great chicken parm and we always agreed that cheese made everything better:). I remeber him staying up till all hours of the night either working or watching golf or poker on TV. It was truley and honor and privlage to have known and worked with Tom. My thoughts and pryers are with his family during there time of loss
