Obituary of Clifford John Mott
Clifford (Tuie) J. Mott a lifelong resident of Masonville, NY passed away unexpectedly Thursday February 24th, 2022 at his home.
Clifford was the son of the late Clifford B. and Frances G. Mott.
Tuie left behind his loving wife of 68 years, Rita Leonard Mott, along with three daughters ("His Girls"), Sherry (Kurt) Vandermark, Karen (George) Walker, Michele (Alan) Rowe; one son Henry (Kristine) Mott, Wendy Mott, 12 beloved grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son David L. Mott and grandson Ryan S. Mott.
Tuie spent the majority of his life working road construction and driving tractor trailer. He became an owner operator and drove the east coast with his son David. He enjoyed snowmobiling and riding motorcycle with his children as they were growing up.
He was a Sixty-year member of the Masonic Lodge.
In his later years, he enjoyed gardening, mowing his lawn and being outside puttering in the sun.
He loved being involved in his grandson, Shaun Walker's dirt track racing career, working on the cars and going to the racetrack every weekend as part of the "pit crew", even at the spry age of 88.
His hugs, smiles, stories, and pancake breakfasts will greatly be missed.
A private graveside service will be held at the family's convenience.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Masonville Cemetery Association.
