Our sincere condolences to Nancy and the Bennett family on the loss of a great Husband, Father and wonderful person. Karene and I worked with Nancy at the Bank in Sidney for many years and knew Lyle through attending Bank social events. We also knew Duane through High School in Sidney. The Bennett family was always special to us, and our lives were enriched knowing them.
May you rest in peace Lyle.

So sorry for your loss. Lyle was a great guy. I always enjoyed listening to him play fiddle with the Rural Rhythm band. I was lucky to see most of the shows as I was working for the Sidney Center school.

Lyle was a special neighbor and longtime friend of Bill and I. Music brought us together. Bill and Lyle could play any song in any key. As young guys they became friends and bought look-alike Chevys. Nancy and I often travelled with them to music gigs. Then years later, there was months of rehearsals for the Rural Rhythm shows and 30+ years of shows. Nancy and I sang in the shows and were proud of our husbands in the band; Bill on piano and Lyle on the fiddle. Often, in later years when I would go to visit Nancy, Lyle would be in the cellar rec room playing some music. I like to think of Lyle and Bill making music together in Heaven.

Mrs. Bennett, Shirley, Carolyn and families,
We are so very sorry to see this sad news. Carolyn, I remembered your parents well from our days in school along with my parents friendship with your parents. My husband and I were fortunate to have been able to see Mr. and Mrs. Bennett occasionally since building our home over in the Sidney Center area 23 years ago. They are such a special couple and so very pleasant when we have seen them no matter how much time lapses in between a “hello”. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. Sending hugs and sincere condolences to each of you.
With deepest sympathy,
Dan and Diane (Palmer) Bradshaw

So sorry to hear of Lyle's passing. I so enjoyed working with him at Keith Clark. I never saw him lose his temper & he always listened to my concerns. One of the best bosses I had. Missed running into him at the store. May your memories help you all through this difficult time. Nancy, you & Lyle were a model couple. He will be missed.

So many memories of this wonderful man and brother in law. My earliest memory of Lyle takes me back to grandma Adams' farm and Lyle teasing me and always called me blondie. Later years would have the privilege to share in family trips and family fun. Always a gentleman, always genuine.
A man of Faith and integrity.....
Love to Nan and family

My father was deeply loved by all. He enjoyed music and could play most any instrument he picked up. Dad's family was so important to him, and I have so many great memories filled with love, music, camping and hiking. I was truly blessed to have such a wonderful father. - Carolyn Cochran
