Obituary of Michelle Lynn Costello

Michelle Lynn Costello, 46, of Mt. Upton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born on May 1, 1975 in Sidney, the only child of Michael Costello and Kay (White) Costello. Michelle worked as a nurses aide for Chase Nursing Home and Chenango Memorial Hospital until she was sidelined by health issues. She was a fan of stock car racing at Thunder Mountain Speedway, and couldn't miss her soap operas. She loved animals and enjoyed horseback riding growing up. In addition to her parents, Mike Costello and Kay Costello, Michelle will be missed by her beloved children: her son, Austin Beardslee, and her daughter, Madison Lockwood; her companion, Dwayne Lockwood; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Burial will take place at a later date in Maplewood Cemetery, Mt. Upton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to either the Guilford or Norwich Emergency Squads.
