Nancy "Congo" was a small town girl who managed to touch so many lives. She was known for her outgoing and always social personality. You could always count on her to be direct and honest, never sugar coating anything. She was the life of the party and could light up any room with her smile and spirit. Nancy graduated high school at Afton Central School in 1979. In her high school years Nancy was athletic and had a true love for sports; I.E field hockey with an unofficial goalie record of most fights. She received numerous athletic awards and held school records as well. For many years, she enjoyed camping with her family, gardening, mowing the lawn (which she really loved), enjoying summer weather and most of all; making memories with those she loved. Whether you met her at the bar serving you a drink or at the pharmacy making small talk, she had a way of leaving a lasting impression on the people. Nancy was all about her family and would also give the shirt off her back for anyone. In the last decade of her life, she was known as Nana. Her granddaughters were her world and she was always quick to brag about how beautiful and special they are. Her daughters were always her greatest accomplishment and she was beyond proud of them. Her love for her husband was beyond measure. She was swept off her feet and had an unforgettable journey in this life with Mike. They were true soulmates who built a beautiful life together. Though her time on earth wasn't nearly long enough, she lived her life and her time to the fullest. Nancy will be missed immensely and will never be forgotten.
