Obituary of John Leo Astrologo

John was born on August 20, 1956, in Peekskill, NY. He was born to Florence and Carmillo Astrologo. Eventually he moved with his family to upstate NY to a quiet country setting, so he could enjoy more of the things he loved. John cherished his relationship with God. He spent many years working as an auto mechanic, auto body repair technician and a butcher. John loved the outdoors which included gardening, fishing, trapping, and hunting. As well as caring for his many animals including his pet pig Charlotte. He spent any free time he had with his partner in crime and best friend, Jeff See. John had many talents and loved to make things for family so they could remember loved ones. He was truly a jack of all trades. He was loved by everyone who met him and was always willing to help anyone in need. John loved his family and being a grandfather. He enjoyed telling all his grandkids stories from his childhood and they enjoyed spending time with their Pop-Pop. John was predeceased by his parents Florence and William See & Carmillo Astrologo, mother-in-law Alice See, father-in-law Earl See, brother Anthony Astrologo, sister Donna Wakley, his first wife Donna Lee Rancourt, sister-in-law Terri Pecora, brother-in-law Glen See, nephew Glen See, nieces Renee and Nicole See. John is survived by his loving wife Barbara Astrologo, brothers Nicola (Diedre) Astrologo, Michael Astrologo, Joseph See, sister Christine See (Lisa Fuller). His children and grandchildren David Williams, Evan & Lucas Williams~Shannondee & Jeff Cox, Isaiah Astrologo, Anthony, Gabrielle & Wyatt Cutting & Tyler Cox~Josh & Wendy Astrologo, Andrea, Dante & Isabella Astrologo~Daniel Astrologo, Cyrus & Jackson Astrologo~Matthew Astrologo, Lily Astrologo~Crystal Cruz & Josh Wilcox, Kandace Reagan, Kayla & Raelynn Wilcox~Justin Astrologo & Havannah Rickard, Genevieve Astrologo~Amber Astrologo, Davon Vanluevan & Jocelyn Kiesinger. As well as many nieces, nephews, brother & sister-in-laws. John's final wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread so he can "Walk the Wind". His family will hold a Celebration of Life in John's memory for Family & Friends on November 13, 2021. Details for the place and time are still being determined.
