Obituary of Cresta Erin Cajthaml

Cresta Erin Cajthaml, age 47, of Marietta, Georgia passed away September 10, 2021 surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with metastatic cancer. A native of New York, Cresta spent most her childhood in Liverpool, NY prior to moving to Sidney, NY in 1986 . Cresta was a 1992 Sidney High School graduate. She excelled at academics and sports throughout her high school career and graduated at the top of her class. A true scientist at heart, Cresta would spend her high school summers working as a biotechnology lab assistant at Cornell University prior to attending college. Post high school Cresta went on to pursue a Biology degree from University of Rochester, graduating in 1996, where she would begin a lengthy career working passionately with the most vulnerable creatures in Veterinary medicine. Upon moving to the Atlanta area in 1997, Cresta began a twenty two year career with Cobb Veterinary Internal Medicine in Marietta, GA. While working there she would meet many lifelong friends that became family. Cresta was an amazing artist and had creative brilliance. She was known for her sense of style and love of fashion. She was an amazing "dog mom" to her dogs Fred and Jack that were her constant bed hogging companions. Cresta was one of the most loyal friends a person could ever ask for. Never judgmental and always there to listen whole heartily. She could maintain friendships regardless of distance or time. A rare gem too beautiful for this earth that will be forever missed. Cresta was preceded in death by her father Frank R. Cajthaml of Tampa, Fl. She is survived by long time partner Edward Zeasar III of Marietta, GA . Mother, Christine Craver of Hiram, GA. Sister, Danica Innocente (Stephen) of Dallas, GA. Brother, Damon Cajthaml (Jenn) of Philadelphia, PA Nephew, Aidan Innocente of Dallas, GA.
