I was very sorry to hear that the world lost Jordan last weekend. While we'd only talked a handful of times--mostly at weddings we both attended--he was so clearly a kind, genuine person that he was immediately likeable. His size made him stand out, but his presence was more than physical, as anyone who ever met him can attest. My condolences to his family and close friends, their loss is greatest. I am certain the memories of him will never disappear.

Amy and family, we cannot imagine the amount of pain you are going through at this time and in the future. While we did not know Jordan, we know that he was very much loved as is so evident. May God guide you, and your family help you in the coming days and years ahead. Lean on them all for strength, friends family and loved ones are there for you. Much love and peace, Rene’ & Kevin Treffeisen

To the immediate family and other loved ones close to Jordan, please accept my sympathies. Sports - especially football - was how I best remember Jordan, still there were nuances which bring a smile to my face on and off the field.
First was how the family kept me in line when I called him Jared on the radio (Arrrgh) they were so nice. Many years later when we honored the state champs as a Hall of Fame Legacy team, I asked him to be one of the speakers and he delivered with class and grace. Lastly I’d see him in stores as a merchandiser and he ALWAYS spoke to me with a friendly “Hi Mr. Davie!” Such respect all those years later.
He was treasured in life and now will be missed. Rest in eternal Peace, big guy.

I used to love the evenings our parents would play pitch and we four kids would either count the swear words in "Mrs. Doubtfire," play Mission: Impossible, or play Donkey Kong... Jordy was always so sweet and funny, just an all around good person. And I think everyone in Masonville knew that when we heard the whistle the boys had to head in:) This news is devastating. Jared, Mrs. Tuttel, know you are loved during a crazy, awful time, and we'll always remember Jordan and Don.

I was overjoyed when Jordan and Sara adopted my foster dog, Shae. It is always a special moment when you find the right home for a homeless dog but even more meaningful when the dog ends up with someone that you grew up with. I did not know Sara prior to Shae’s adoption but upon meeting her when I took Shae for a meet and greet, I knew that Shae was one of the luckiest dogs to end up with Jordan and Sara as her humans. Shae quickly made in known that Jordan was the apple of her eye and I know Jordan adored Shae just as much. Thank you Jordan for giving a homeless dog a chance. You have always been a wonderful person and friend to all. Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to Jordan’s entire family. We am thinking of you all.

To my dear friend Amy, Sara, Jared and family and the Nelson family: I have done nothing but think of each of you and I am wishing you peace in the coming months. Jordan was a very special person. The extra time he spent with us in the gym during his high school career will be memories I will have forever. Quiet talks and boisterous game play were two things I remember most. Please accept our sincere condolences. With love, Loraine Flyzik, Michael and Samantha Butcher
