Obituary of Lesa Dayle Allen

In loving memory of Lesa D. Allen was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and wonderful friend for all. Lesa D. Allen, 64 of Mount Upton, NY was called home to be with our Heavenly Father too early on July 27, 2021. Lesa was born on June 4, 1957 the daughter of Robert and Marjorie Brooks. Her father predeceased her on July 27, 2004 and her mother on July 17, 2021. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, the late Reverend Thomas C. Allen and Evelyn Joy Allen, whom she dearly loved. Lesa was a graduate of Morris Central School, after which she attended Liberty Bible College enrolled in the nursing program, a graduate of BOCES LPN program. On October 6, 1979 Lesa married the love of her life Ronald E. Allen and resided in Mt. Upton for 41 years. Lesa was employed by Chenango Memorial Hospital for 41 years, working through many units, but primarily the Maternity Unit and became one of the only Licensed Lactation Consultants in this area. Her dedication and passion to provide care for others undoubtedly came from a place of love for all. Lesa was a kind and gentle soul who always had a kind word and prayer for all who came across her path. Lesa loved spending time with her family and creating arts and crafts. She will be missed dearly. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and devoted husband of 42 years Ronald E. Allen, wonderful loving sons Ronald T. Allen (Brenda), Cary C. Allen (Samantha), of Mt. Upton, NY. Her sister Julie (Jerry) Tweed of Columbus, Her brother Chris Brooks of Sidney, NY. Her sister-in-law Denise Allen and Niece Amber Allen of Roanoke, VA. Including countless cherished family and friends to mention. Calling hours will be held at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney, NY on Friday August 6, from 5-8pm. The funeral will be held at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel on Saturday August 7, at 1:00pm.
