Sending my condolences to Barbara’s family. I still remember my mom telling of the time when the school bus could not get up East Afton Road to her home, so she stayed the night at Macpherson’s; and my grandparents did not have a phone, so they didn’t even know where she was! I’m glad our moms stayed life long friends. When my mom could no longer write, I addressed cards to send to your mom and dad. May your memories bring you comfort despite your sorrow.
