Peter A. Rivino, 70 of Unadilla, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 27, 2010 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta. Pete was born on June 29, 1940, son of the late Peter A. and Madge (Perry) Rivino in Oneonta. He graduated from Oneonta High School, and began working at Amphenol Corp. when he was 18. He was a machine operator for the company for over 40 years, retiring in 2002. On January 31, 1987, Pete married Jackie Yale in Unadilla. Pete loved life, but he was also a hard working man. He was a talented wood worker. He enjoyed music and liked to sing, especially with his brothers. Pete loved to golf, but his patience with the game did cost him a few broken golf clubs. He was an excellent pool player. Pete loved playing cards with his family and friends. He loved to tell jokes. He was a strong man with a big heart. He deeply loved his family, and he had many friends. Pete closely followed his grandkids sports, and they lovingly knew him as Grampa Bino.

9 grandchildren: Patrick, Rusty, Zach, Taylor, Morgan, Corbin, Raven, Owen and Cooper
3 Great Grandchildren: Adam, Ryilee and Abigail
2 Sisters: Carol Lester and Vivian Worden
2 Brothers: David Rivino and Tony Rivino
In addition to his parents, Pete was predeceased by a brother, Les Rivino, a sister, Theresa Rivino, and his first wife, Sandy Rivino.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 5:00-7:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney, NY 13838. A memorial service will follow at 7:00pm at the funeral chapel. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
