It's been a long time in passing my friend,
the journey was arduous and sometimes hard.
We were kindred once, many years ago,
Little we knew,......fast, forever forward.
Still in memory, you are as you always were,
Time remains,.......... but the same.
In hallowed halls, there we will always dwell,
and know you then and now, by name.
Gone,... only to the eyes of the world,
But in hearts and memory, never to fade.
Remain then, only mere footstep ahead,
where in calming waters, we all shall wade!
