To the Entire Searles family: you know you have been around a while when the hill is named after your family-I'm sure Mom's life as a mother, farm wife and caregiver to so many was never dull-so many stories to tell about her life, the land, her family. Her story lives on in the lives of her children and grandchildren, and you are fortunate to have had her in your life for so long. That doesn't make her passing any easier, but knowing she had such an amazing life, right up on Searles Hill, makes us all smile just a little. Grandma .. cooking in her kitchen, unbelievably tidy house, never ending jig saw puzzles, showering the grandkids with attention, an always ready container of toys to play with, a huge presence of love in such a tiny energetic body.
