Mike was a fraternity brother in college and the winning captain of W&L’s cross country team. He was one of the gentlest men I’ve had privilege to know. I can appreciate how much he will be missed in his community. My sincere condolences to his family.

Wasn’t mentioned but Father Shank was the priest for Broome Developmental Services. He showed amazing love compassion and kindness to all he met. He would visit the houses and day has programs and share a prayer, maybe a little lunch! We loved having him visit! You will be greatly missed Father Shank! Thank you for all your wonderful stories, jokes, love and prayers! Beth

Father Mike was a beautiful human being and a dear friend to my mom who passed away shortly before him. He brought her and our family so much love and comfort, along with his amazing wife, Carol. Mike was a one of a kind man with one of the largest hearts I’ve ever seen. Love you Father Mike.

Father Mike was the kind of man that made everyone he met feel at ease. He loved the individuals at OPWDD and the staff that worked with them. He always was upbeat and made you feel like you were the best you could be. He never would walk away without letting you know you were loved. May you rest with Jesus Father Mike!

Fr. Mike was always good for a hearty story and a laugh. We had a common love for the Philly area. But most of all, he was a man with a heart for the Lord. May he rest in peace.
