Obituary of Edward O. Jensen

Edward O. Jensen Sidney—Edward O. Jensen, 72, passed away on December 14, 2019 at Bridgewater Nursing Center in Binghamton. He was born on April 1, 1947, son of the late Oliver and P. Doris (Bundt) Jensen in Saugerties, NY. He served his country in the US Navy from 1964 to his honorable discharge in 1967. Ed worked for the Albany City Police Department for 10 years and retired from Amphenol Corp. as a Chef. He was a member of the Sidney American Legion Post 183 for over 28 years. He is survived by his girlfriend of over 36 years, Barbara Johnson, and her family; his son, Steven Jensen of Kinderhook, NY; daughter, Karen Dupuis of Cohoes, NY; four grandchildren: Lillian, Henry, Grace and Jacob; sister, Lois and Marc Chenkus of Red Hook; niece, Diane Falk-Ralston; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. In addition to his parents, Oliver and Doris, Ed was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Livingson. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Sidney American Legion, 22 Union St. Sidney, NY 13838. Share memories and condolences online at www.landersfh.com.
