She was with us so long, thank goodness. I believe I was in the Congregational choir with her when we were in high school. I know my dad was at Fox with her the last time he was hospitalized. My dad is following in her long-lived footsteps at 96 this year. We're lucky!

Mrs Cooke had a long association with my family between Scintilla, Eastern Star and my time with Carl. She was a sweet, kind woman. God bless you all as you work through this difficult life transition.

Many fond memories of Mrs.Cooke as a neighbor on Winegard Street. I still have the baby quilt she made for my son in 1980. I am sure he felt the love she put in it. The two continued to bond as he grew older and spent what seemed like hours sitting together on her front porch; chatting and swinging on her glider. My condolences to her family.
