John, Tim and families - sending sympathy on the loss of your mother. I remember her being such an advocate and “cheer leader” for your dad when he was having rehab years ago. And I remember well that look he’d give her when he’d had enough! May your memories bring you comfort.

John, Tim and families-Thinking of you all right now as you honor the passing of mom. She was always around us growing up, sharing in sports, music, and summer marching band. She organized pizza parties(still can't find pizza like Marty's Hideaway) and was always there with a smile or an ear to listen.
I hope you hear wonderful memories of her life, and take comfort knowing she is back with your dad, Joe again.

Condolences to Tim, John and families.
Your mom was one of a kind. I first met her when she worked at Marty's pizza shop. We won't mention how long ago that was but who knew that all of our paths would cross so many times in the ensuing future. I would later learn from her how many pizzas she would make on a busy night from that tiny place. While the number itself escapes my memory, suffice it to say the amount was incredible! But that was Phyllis. Always ready for a challenge and willing to get the job done no matter what the odds.
She was a very kind and giving person and always eager to help others. Her smile rarely left her face. She will be missed by many.

I first met Phyllis when she designed my kitchen in Unadilla. She worked at Horton Hardware at the time. Then when I moved to Bainbridge she asked me to be on her bowling team. She always had had a big smile. She once told me no one misses the 5 pin. Guess what I missed the 5 pin a lot of the time. When I do I think of her.

Please accept my sincere condolences to all those connected with Phyllis. It had been many years since we laughed and shared stories at Horton Hardware. But she drew the line during the live WCDO remotes (“oh no, you don’t want me blabbering on the radio!”)
She held family so dear - they came first. May she Rest In Peace.
