Mrs. Uhorchak, "Mimi" was not only a special lady to me and my brothers and sisters but was a guardian angel to my mother. I knew the years my mother lived alone on Seneca Street that she was always looking out for my mom. There are many happy, cherished memories of growing up in the best neighborhood in Sidney during the 60's and 70's. As one of the original residents of that street your Mom was a big part of making that neighborhood so special. I know each of you will pass on what a special lady she was to your children and grandchildren! My prayers to all of you!

There will always be a soft spot in my heart for Mimi. She was “forever young” when I saw her. Extremely self sufficient and ready to speak her mind, Mimi cherished her family and her Alma Mater.

When I first moved to Sidney and started working at the Great American, Mimi was a regular...almost every day. We had many chats and laughs and I always enjoyed seeing her in the store. You could tell she was sweet, but feisty! What a wonderful person she was and I am so grateful to have had the chance to visit with her for many years. I have missed her for awhile and she crossed my mind many times.
