Obituary of Ruth Ann Winans

Ruth Ann Winans Bainbridge, NY Ruth Ann went to be with her Lord on March 26, 2019. She was 79 years old. Ruth was born in Hancock, NY on July 11, 1939, daughter of Bert and Margaret Pearl (Halstead) Hendrickson. Ruth attended Hancock Central School, Class of 1955-56. She was baptized at the age of 16 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Cadosia, NY. Ruth was employed at Bard-Parker Acute Care, division of Bector-Dickinson in Hancock, NY for 26 years. She retired early in August 1994. She then was employed at Mamco Mold-a-matic in Oneonta for 4 years when she became disabled. Ruth was predeceased by her parents; her sister Betty, brothers, Bill Joseph, Gary and Carl, and beloved cat Babe. She is survived by her beloved husband, Dale of Bainbridge; son, Brian and Star Hedman; daughter, Dawn and Lynn Wilcox of Unadilla; granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Wilcox and Jeff Tanner of Spring Hill, TN; grandson, Thomas and Jenn Heaney of New Jersey; sister, Edith Krayna; 2 sisters and 3 brothers; her best friend, Joann; great-grandchildren, Landon Jacob, Jaydon James and Ryder James. Friends may call from 5:00-7:00pm on Monday, April 1, 2019 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. A memorial service will begin at 7:00pm at the funeral chapel with Pastor Ed Honrath officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in McClure Cemetery.
