Jane and I were best friends from our early childhood and into adulthood. We’d been separated by time, space and events for many years, but I thought of her daily. I’m struggling, devastated, after reading of her passing just recently. It was always my hope we would reconnect at some point, but that hope is gone. Jane was the ting to my yang. I was organized, planning, unartistic. She was artistic, spontaneous. We used to say we’d sit in our rocking chairs together as old ladies on a porch somewhere. The world lost an amazing woman. I lost one of the few people who really knew me. My thoughts are with her family and friends who I know share my profound grief. Jane will live on as we keep her in our hearts.

We are saddened by Janes passing, As we knew her whole family.
Jane was a great friend and distant relation. Her father Ed said we were 32 degree cousins, thru his grandmothers side.
We will miss Jane stopping by the house now and then.

I was so glad to reconnect with Jane at our reunion a couple of years ago. Such a talented lady indeed.

Jane is one of our “adopted” classmates from 1976 after making a quiet decision to graduate a year early. Many people are talented and knowledgeable in either art OR music...Jane had a unique mastery of both.
She was a classically trained pianist who joined our school (and summer) jazz band. Much to our amazement her feel for jazz piano came out quickly and with flair.
Sending sympathy to and gratitude for Jane’s family. Hers was a unique giving life.
