To say I loved this woman hardly seems appropriate. When I moved north in 1991 she became my mentor, my adoptive Mother and keeper of my secrets. I could come to her for anything and treasure the endless days we spent in her attic sewing and quilting. I'll miss her so much and always be grateful for the time I had her.

My wife and I were blessed to visit with Aunt Boo in October. She was in great spirits and got along pretty well for her age. We took her for dinner at the Old Mill Restaurant in Mt. Upton where she renewed her love of scallops. She was my last family tie to the Catskills and NY. I loved her even though she was a Democrat. Rest in peace ol' gal.....you were a pip.

Beulah was a one of a kind person and friend to me. She gave good advice and had a great sense of humor and was like a second mother to me. I have been thinking since she left of things still to tell her! I will miss her very much and am so grateful I have known her for over 50 years since I was little. I so enjoyed writing down her memories of Shavertown.
