I was worry to read about this. I worked with Colleen at The Hospital in Sidney. She also made a few sweaters for me, and my mother in law.
Colleen was a talented seamstress and she did up four taffeta flower girl dresses for my wedding in 1989! When I look at the pictures, I do think fondly of her.
Thinking of all of Colleen's friends and family.

To Mrs. Edwards family, I'm sorry for your loss. Mrs. Edwards came into the Pennysaver to place her ads for several years. I always looked forward to seeing her smile, hearing her laugh and our little visits. She was a pleasant lady and I will miss her. May God bless you with happy memories of her.

Dear Dorothea and Cindy, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I remember all the times we played together at your home and mine. Your Mom was always kind. Except, Cindy, when we had a sleep over at your place and ate a whole bowl of plums. Boy was she upset. Can't blame her. HA HA. My Love to you both.

Dot and cin. I remember your mom when we were young,as I was at your house many times. But I mostly remember your mom later on when I worked with her in the lab at the hospital. She took me under her wing. Taught me so much and always had a young kids ( my) back. She was tough but always fair. I will always remember her and how strong she was. She has her wings now. Live well and happy in honor of her for that is what she wanted for u both. Deepest heartfelt sympathy to u both. Love u both.
