A message of love for the best friend you were, joy for the wonderful times we had, the cherished memories we shared, and sadness for how much you are missed. You were a beautiful person inside and out, always giving of yourself to provide encouragement and compassion when needed. Your generosity was only surpassed by your kindness and you will now grace heaven as you have all of us with your presence on earth. I miss and love you so very much, my dear friend.

We were very sorry to hear this news. Susan and I worked together at NYSED and enjoyed many interesting projects together. We especially enjoyed shopping, attending plays and planning parties for our friends. She overcame many difficult situations. Glad she got to enjoy her dream home. Kathleen Clarity

Kristen/Matthew and entire family-
Being on the same street, I was enlisted as a high school kid to watch you both if your parents were going out. I had the pleasure to know your parents, met your grandparents, and even Craig at a later date. There was never any doubt that you were wanted and loved by your parents, and even at your very young ages you both had a maturity about you that comes when parents take the time to listen and respect a young child. I hope you can remember the wonderful times shared, and appreciate the kind loving woman your mom was. She will be with you always, her spirit will be seen in your children's smiles, or a memory shared with others. Many in the community are feeling your sorrow today. Please know we are saying a special prayer to you all for healing. Our condolences. Paul and Caroline

I was saddened to hear of Sue's passing. My memories of her go back to elementary, middle and high school. Although we lost touch as we moved through life, she was always warmly remembered. Condolences to the family.

Sue was a long time friend from Church (Prince of Peace Lutheran Church) from Luther League, and from Junior High and High School. We played opposite romantic roles in the Brentwood High Senior Play, ' You Can't Take it With You' after she pleaded with me to try out. Based on a bet at a football game, which I lost I was selected to play Tony, her fiancé. We kept in touch over the years by Christmas Cards. Sue was a very warm hearted uncomplicated person and will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. My heart goes out to her Mom, Steve and the rest of her family along with prayers knowing that she is in a wonderful place and can look down on everyone she cared for.

Susan and I became instant friends in high school, and our friendship lasted a lifetime. Although we moved away from Brentwood , we led parallel lives and we shared many of our life experiences. Her twin brother Steven was also my friend.
Most importantly I remember her as a very pretty, bright, curious, talented and friendly woman who was very loyal to her family and her friends. We often stayed in contact with each other and never missed a moment to share the sadness and blessings in our lives.
Her crowning blessing was her marriage to Craig Loudon. I recently attended a celebration at their house where I finally met her handsome husband, and we also celebrated her recent retirement. Although she was recently diagnosed with metastatic Cancer, she appeared very happy, optimistic and focused with the direction of her life. She was ready to overcome all the obstacles of her illness to live happily ever after with her dear husband. Unfortunately that happiness was short lived.
Sadly, she is no longer with us... I will forever miss her pretty smile, laughter and our most precious friendship. My sincerest condolences to her husband and family. May we find peace and comfort knowing that her suffering is over, and our sweet Susan is now in the hands of our Heavenly Father. May she Rest In Peace

Susan was my dear friend. We shared so many wonderful moments together when we worked for the State Education Department, and when our "group of four" got together for lunches filled with laughter.
The joy her children and grandchildren brought her was apparent to everyone. I remember her talking at length about each grandchild as they grew over the years and progressed through school. Her office was filled with family photographs. The accomplishments of her children and their spouses were a source of pride for her.
Our group was thrilled to hear that she and Craig would be married this year. We hoped they would have a long and happy life as husband and wife. We also realized that a long life together might not be possible when she told us of her illness. Nonetheless, we always held out the hope that the trial she was participating in would be a success and prolong her life. Sadly, that was not the case.
Susan was a generous, caring and loving soul. She illuminated the lives of many and will be greatly missed, but the spirit of who she was to all of us will live on forever.
