Obituary of Shirley Z. Lawrence

Shirley Lawrence Unadilla, NY Shirley Pearl (Zieres) Lawrence, 92, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. Shirley was born on October 1, 1926, daughter of the late Samuel and Crystal (Dyker) Zieres in North Branch, NY. On September 7, 1947, she was married to Richard T. Lawrence in North Branch. He predeceased her on January 5, 2007 after 59 years of marriage. Shirley was very proud of staying home to raise her family. She later went on to work as manager of Chez Joseph Clothing Store in Sidney. Shirley will be missed by: her son, J.R. Lawrence of Venice, FL; a granddaughter, Kathryn and John VanBenScoten; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Leslie Lawrence of South New Berlin; grandchildren: Heidi and Todd Crandall, Kyleen and Will Joslyn, John and Lidia Middleton and Tamarah and Mark Brooks; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Camille Lawrence of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughters, Erin and Dan Wilton and Meghan Lawrence; as well as several great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00am on Friday, November 30, 2018 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Memorial services will begin at 11:00am at the funeral chapel with burial to follow in Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Unadilla, weather permitting.
