Maryann, Herb is in my prayers. I was enroute to Tampa when I heard the sad news. Herb was a great friend in the claims world and a loyal "stand up" man. I will miss him but always will remember.

I remember I was a new trooper stationed in Sidney in 1987. Herb was always willing and able to teach us new guys the ropes. I was grateful for his instruction then and as I advanced in my career with NYSP. May he rest in peace.....

Herb was a kind, generous man with a great sense of humor and a great laugh. We have so many good memories of him. .. chasing a runaway horse with Tracy on it, hitching Maggie to a sleigh at Christmas and taking us on a sleigh ride, hiking the hills in the desert at Valley of Fire and all our summer get togethers. Now that he’s been “left unattended” for several days, I wonder how many stone walls he’s built in heaven. Rest In Peace dear Herb.
