So sorry to read about David's passing! When I first came to Mt.Upton School, I would go to the Corner Resturant and have lunch with my school friends and he would be there and go to the bubble gum machine that gave out rings and he gave it to me. I was told he did that with most of the girls. He was always smiling and it would make our day. So sorry for your loss!!! R.I.P David!

I had the honor and privilege of working with David for over a decade. David established an enduring legacy of embodying "joy" in a most uniquely genuine manner. His ubiquitous engaging smile was magnetic, and once drawn in, you were greeted by David's positivism on life as a whole. Regardless if the topic was the weather, or if it was a random Monday, David was always upbeat and found the goodness in everything, even the mundane.
In the spirit of David and his amazing outlook on the world, I will not sadly miss David, but rather, joyfully remember David and seek to incorporate and embody his purity of spreading joy. It is how he lived his life, and how I plan to honor him.
