Words cannot express the sorrow we feel over the loss of your mom. I am so sorry for the late condolences; I've been very overwhelmed with the care of my dad. Your mom was a truly remarkable woman! We all loved her so much and have such great memories of being with her! Some of our greatest memories were sitting at the dining room table with her just talking and talking. We felt we could talk forever! She was truly one of the kindest people we have ever known. My dad said he never recalls having a disagreement with her. (I've never heard any sibling say that!) We really wished we could have been at her funeral and were so horrified that our flowers didn't make it in time! You all will remain in our thoughts and prayers.
We are looking forward to seeing her again.
With much love and sympathy,
Ann, Mike, Wendel and family

As one goes thru life one meets lots of people of which only a few stand out as truly memorable as the years go by. This is how I feel about Marilyn. For me she stands out as one of those rare people who was extremely gifted in the arts. As a fellow artist her miniature oil canvases showed a wonderful mastery of the Hudson River painters from the 19th century.
But not only will I remember her for her truly wonderful artistic gifts but also as the person she was. Her personality was one of kindness and full of compassion. Marilyn loved life and lived it to the fullest of her ability right up to the end.
It was such an honor to have known you my dear friend and I thank you so much for making my life all the richer for having known you.
I would like to think you are somewhere full of vibrant colors, heartfelt music, curtains of fabric and layers of hats swirling all around you. Peace be with you my dear friend and thank you for the memories I will treasure for my lifetime.

Mrs. Martin, a woman that I call " A Class Act". Whenever us kids were running through her house, she took it in stride. She had a most kind, welcoming smile to us all. To her loving family, my thoughts and prayers stay with you, as you continue your lives without her. God's peace be with you.
