Don was one of the good guys. Although he was four years ahead of me in school I remember watching him play football and baseball and was always impressed with his aggressiveness on the field and easy going personality off the field. I will miss talking with him at reunions. The best to you Arlene.

Mrs Doyle, Jeff, Tim, Donna and the rest of the family, my deepest sympathies to you all. Mr Doyle was such a kind, gentle man. He always had a smile on his face and a seeet hello . Dear Doyle Family,
I am much saddened by the passing of my Uncle Don.
Many of my favorite memories of my childhood and early youth are of the various activities and vacations with Don and the rest of the Doyle's, and the time were able to hunt and fish together. He was incredibly funny, and had a great sense of humor.

We were so sorry to hear of Mr. Doyle's death. We always enjoyed running into Mr. and Mrs. Doyle at sporting events-they seemed to love them all.

I am so sorry for the loss of a true gentleman. He was a part of my life from the time I was in Pee Wee basball with his son Jack to wrestling and football in high school. Never one to insist on calling him Mr. Doyle. The Doyle family and mine were good friends. I always knew him as Donnie and his lovely wife as Arlene. His son Jack and I shared some adventures throughout school. Jack and I were in football, wrestling and chorus. My heart goes out to the Doyle family as I know the pain in the loss of a father especially one like Donnie. May God have mercy and I know he is at the gates waiting his turn to enter.

Mr. Doyle was a rarity. He had no ill will toward anyone and not once did I ever hear someone speak poorly of him. Yet he was a humble man who put faith and family above all else.
I can still see him at the wrestling scorer’s table, or on the football chain crew. Later in the stands for football or soccer. A Sidney Warrior for life.
The purest look of joy, however, was when he sang with his family, creating sweet harmonies and memorable sounds to savor beyond the last note. That’s how I will remember Don. Cherish those memories and look forward to seeing him again. He’ll be in the heavenly choir for sure. Love to all.

I don't believe Donnie ever had an enemy in his life. We have known him since high school. He was so kind and friendly to all he met and he certainly was proud of and loved his family. Donnie certainly was a true SIDNEY WARRIOR - not only in participating on teams while he was in school, but he was Sidney Central School's most AVID and FAITHFUL fan in all contests which Sidney players were involved.
