I went to Sidney today to the firehouse and stood outside for awhile letting others go ahead of me. Saw a few that I knew and started to feel insignificant so after a half hour or so I decided to leave. Just wanted to say that there was no better man than Jim to ever walk the earth... nobody more unselfish. He will be solely missed by many.
I feel lucky to have known him as many do.

My sincere condolences to Jim’s family. Besides being a couple years behind me at Sidney school, he will be remembered by me for his work with the B-G Booster Club and Bainbridge Lions. Especially when the school budget failed and the boosters had to work much harder to support the student-athletes (former); and after Gary Seymour died and he helped lead the club at the Relay For Life in tribute (latter).
May you all find comfort in knowing he was valued by so many and did so much for others.

We will certainly miss his big smile and laugh, and the way he twisted his feet when he got off the elevator (we always knew it was him before we could see him).
