So sorry for your loss. One of my earliest memories of Joyce was back when I was about 10 years old and I think we were next door neighbors at the time(?) and it was the day that my brother Marty broke his arm in our living room. We were jumping over boxes and he didn't make it one time and his arm broke in multiple places. I ran outside and Joyce was standing there and she ran inside the house and immediately took control of the situation. She was a real life saver that day. None of us ever forgot that. She always held a special place in our hearts. Just want you to know how much we appreciated your mom and valued the friendship our families had with one another back then. Thinking of all of you. I'm a bit late for this but I live in Florida now so I've lost touch with everybody.

Dear Mark, Alison, Tim, Lisa, and your families:
How fortunate were we to have known such a kind, loving, and compassionate lady. Your mom was there for us in our time of need and helped us through the medical maze that was thrust at us. She was a lifesaver, and for that, and because of who she was we will remember her with much love forever and always.

I was blessed and thankful for the 61 years Joyce was my ‘sister’. She was a loving person, with great compassion and a sense of humor.
